Na Jomtien — the long beach
Na Jomtien is the long, less-developed beachfront strip south of Jomtien proper. The dining DNA is more relaxed, more beachfront, more sand-on-the-floor — the kind of place where the Italian pasta restaurant is on the beach and the iconic seafood institution has been rebranded but kept the location.
Two of the guide's ranked restaurants are in Na Jomtien: The Glass House Pattaya (Boho) — Pattaya's most iconic beachfront restaurant, recently rebranded "Glass House Boho" on Na Jomtien sand, 170+ Thai-Western dishes; and Bacco Beach Italian Restaurant — Italian sunsets on the sand at Na Jomtien, pasta and prosecco with toes in the surf.
Reach Na Jomtien from central Pattaya in 15–20 minutes by car, from Jomtien in 8–12 minutes. The beach road is long and largely walkable; most arrivals are by car or motorbike taxi.
NA JOMTIEN BY MOMENT
- Iconic beachfront seafood: The Glass House Pattaya (Boho) — on the sand, 170+ dishes, signature Tom Yum with giant prawns.
- Italian sunset on the beach: Bacco Beach Italian — wood-fired pizza, prosecco, toes in the surf.
"Na Jomtien is what the southern beach corridor looks like when it stops being a strip and starts being a beach. The pace drops. The cooking gets less ambitious and more honest."
